Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Buyer for one of our clients based in Walsall. As a Buyer you will be responsible for the procurement and management of inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.
Buyer Responsibilities:
Build and maintain supplier relationships
Manage demand report to ensure any demand is placed in accordance with MOQ/MOV/Lead Time information
Work with current/potential suppliers to negotiate cost reduction
Reject/defer cost increases from suppliers through negotiation
Escalating issues to the Procurement Manager
Buyer Details:
Location: Walsall
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 PA
Buyer Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role
Good communication skills
PC literate
Ability to work towards targets
