Position: Temporary School Caretaker
Location: Birmingham, Sandwell
Agency: Supply Teaching Agency
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
Pay: £12.83 - £16.00 P/H Via PAYE
Are you an experienced caretaker looking for a flexible temporary role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary School Caretaker to join a vibrant school in Birmingham, Sandwell. This role, offered through a reputable supply teaching agency, is perfect for individuals who want to utilize their expertise in a flexible working environment. The individual must be open to working around various schools around the Birmingham & Sandwell area.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the site, ensuring it is safe and secure at all times.
Opening and closing the school buildings daily.
Adhering to building regulations and maintaining the safety standards of the school.
Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs.
Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the school grounds.
Reporting any health and safety issues promptly.
Requirements:
Previous caretaking experience in a school setting is preferred.
Experience in managing sites, opening and closing buildings, and adhering to safety regulations.
Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, within the hours of 6:30am to 3:00pm.
Willingness to undergo a criminal conviction check or possess an existing check registered on the update service.
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
