MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected printing company based in the Washington area.
The Role:
* Working in a commercial printing setting.
* Working as a print finisher, finishing all prints to a high quality.
* Using a guillotine to finish prints.
* Setting the guillotine to cut and finish prints to the correct specifications.
* Using machines to fold prints and some elements of folding by hand.
* Using a large format print machine
* Dealing with bespoke customer orders and following tight deadlines.
* Completing paper work, making sure each stage of production has been met.
* General housekeeping duties carried out, making sure own area is kept clean and tidy.
* Strict daily targets and deadlines, which are monitored by team leader.
The Person:
* Candidate should have experience of working in a fast-paced printing environment.
* A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
* Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.
* Focused on quality and excellence of end product.
* Motivated to meet targets and deadlines.
* Working either independently or within a team.
* Be able to help and pass on experiences to help improvements within the company.
* Be energetic and enthusiastic, proactively offering proposals.
* Achieve team objectives.
* Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.

The hours:
* 08:00am to 16:30pm
* 06:00am to 14:00pm / 14:00pm to 22:00pm
* Must be flexible if it goes onto shifts.
The Pay:
* £12 to £14 per hour
