Aspire People, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Year 1 Teacher to join a lovely school in Nuneaton. This full-time role is set to commence in September 2024 and will continue until the end of the academic year in July 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the Year 1 curriculum.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
Implement strong behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and productive classroom.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to support the educational and social development of students.
Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities as required.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven experience teaching in a UK classroom setting, preferably in Key Stage 1.
Excellent knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and effective teaching methods.
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to the educational and social development of children.
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
