Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Westerdale Group now have an exciting new opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our fast growing and highly successful client that specialises in materials handling systems.

You should be able to provide a broad based electrical, mechanical, ability along with a right first-time mentality and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve the site’s performance.

The Ideal candidate will be tasked make sure all PPM and reactive maintenance are complete on a wide range automated materials handling equipment such as conveyors, sortation, and packaging machinery. This is a chance to work in state-of-the-art automated warehouse (training and career progression available). 
 
Please note if you have industrial electrical or mechanical experience please apply as the engineering site manager is open to training people with in an automation environment. 

Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds in an engineering discipline
Previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
shift work 12 hours shifts (Days/Nights) 4 on 4 off. 2pm - 2am 
Experience of managing small teams on a customer site
Familiar with basic hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, Allen keys
Excellent communication skills and customer focus
Ability to work in a time critical environment
