Metalis are working with a leading supplier in the Bradford area who are looking to add a CNC Miller to their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines.
The Role:
Programme, set and operate CNC Milling machines.
Read and understand engineering drawings.
Working to tight tolerances
Select correct tooling and materials.
Working to SOP's
Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
Work to set timescales and deadlines.
The Person:
Experience of Programming HAAS/Fanuc
Precision engineering experience is essential.
Experience machining ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel, aluminum, and brass.
Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing qualification or Apprenticeship
Excellent health and safety knowledge
