Mechanical Service Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a with a well-established manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire to recruit a Mechanical Service Engineer.

The Mechanical Service Engineer is responsible for providing a professional and prompt customer focused service to all customers’ industrial processing and engineering sites both in the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Service Engineer will include:

Conducting process inspections and site audits
Compiling detailed survey reports
To complete Energy Audits
Performing on-Site maintenance and engineering support
Optimisation of customer’s equipment
Commissioning of new and refurbished equipment
Producing safety documentation (RAMS)
Site management/customer liaison
Fault finding on machinery
Attending to call-out work on machine break downs
We are keen to speak with Mechanical Service Engineers with the following:

HNC Qualified
Apprenticeship or electrical/mechanical engineering qualification,
Both mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and plant.
Sound knowledge of electrical / electronic controls.
Proficient IT skills and able to use MS Office
Full UK driving license is required as National, and occasional international travel is involved
