Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. As an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that machinery, equipment, and facilities are operating at an optimal level.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow the planned maintenance schedule to ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities meet the required standards
Perform both planned and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime
Analyze major breakdowns and implement root cause analysis
Implement solutions to prevent machinery and process issues from reoccurring
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in machine maintenance
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Time-served in a manufacturing environment
Strong hands-on approach
Must have own tools
This role is based on a weekly rotating shift, working from 6am - 2pm and then 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday. The position is outside IR35, offering competitive rates.
