The Implementation Project Manager Opportunity:
As Implementation Project Manager, you will oversee end-to-end software implementations that are pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects within predefined budgetary, timeline, and quality parameters while fostering strong collaboration with customer stakeholders.
This role involves strategic planning, meticulous coordination, and adept leadership to manage project scope, resources, and risks effectively. By serving as the primary liaison between the project team and customer stakeholders, the project manager facilitates clear communication, manages expectations, and resolves issues promptly to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
Where you’ll add value:
+ Developing detailed project plans
+ Creating and managing project budgets
+ Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
+ Assigning tasks to team members, and ensuring that resources are effectively utilised
+ Developing project schedules and timelines and monitoring progress against milestones
+ Identifying potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery
+ Acting as the primary point of contact for customer and internal stakeholders
+ Implementing quality assurance processes to ensure that deliverables are met
+ Facilitating the management of change requests
+ Identifying and resolving issues and conflicts that arise during the project
+ Maintaining comprehensive project documentation
+ Providing leadership and direction to project team members
+ Ensuring proper project closure activities are conducted, including finalising all project documentation, conducting post-project reviews, and transitioning deliverables to the appropriate stakeholders or support teams
About you:
+ Hold a Project Management Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) is beneficial but not essential
+ Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end software implementation projects
+ Prior experience interacting with customers and managing client relationships
+ Strong expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., PSA, Microsoft Project) to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
+ Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire and motivate project teams
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Proficiency in assessing and mitigating project risks
+ Effective negotiation skills
+ Financial acumen to develop and manage project budgets
