About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a school in Sheffield, starting in September 2024. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about physical education and promoting a healthy lifestyle among students.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons in line with the British education curriculum.
Plan and prepare lessons that cater to the diverse abilities of students.
Assess, track, and report on students' progress.
Manage classroom and outdoor activity behaviour to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Participate in and contribute to the school's academic and extracurricular programmes.
Requirements:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Have a strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching.
Be passionate about physical education and committed to promoting health and fitness.
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
