The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be experienced in working with primary or secondary students and have a strong background in special educational needs, including managing challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.
Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students.
Manage and support students with challenging behaviour, employing effective behaviour management strategies.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support for students.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school's ongoing improvement.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven experience in working with students with special educational needs, including challenging behaviour.
Strong knowledge of SEN best practices and strategies.
Team Teach qualification is desirable but full training will be provided if you do not hold this
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.What We Offer:
