Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled shop floor team are currently looking for an experience CNC Machinist to join a progressive Sheffield-based manufacturer, supplying forged rings to aerospace and power generation industries.
Working Hours: alternating weekly shifts
Mornings: Monday- Thursday: 05:00 – 12:30 Friday: 05:00– 12:00
Afters – Monday- Thursday 12:00– 19:00 Friday: 11:30 – 18:30
Salary:
Mornings: £14.07 p/h + £28.14 weekly shift allowance.
Afters: £14.07 p/h + £56.28 weekly shift allowance
Roles and Responsibilities:
Setting and operating multiple CNC machines
Read and interpret technical drawings.
Setting cutting speeds and tolerance levels
Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning and facing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes and adjusting and reprogramming controls.
Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
Knowledge of conventional machining
Skills and Experience
CNC Machining qualification or time served experience.
Experience in machining steels, nickels, and titanium.
Communication skills
The initiative to work on your own or as part of a team.
