Brightspeed is currently looking for a Manager, Mid-Market Sales to join our Enterprise team! You will focus on driving incremental sales growth within our embedded base of customers. Leading a small team of expert sales and retention representatives in the small to medium business to business market, this role is a key component to the overall sales and churn prevention success strategy for Brightspeed’s Enterprise Sales team. 
As Manager, Mid-Market Sales, your responsibilities will include:
Lead a sales team responsible for selling the company’s products and services via telephone/web conferencing using a solution-based/consultative sales approach
Direct ownership of overall customer satisfaction leading continued customer tenure
Coach representatives to qualify leads, identify decision makers, determine customer needs, explain product/service variations, overcome customer objections and close sales
Exercise judgment with defined procedures and practices, and performance management to determine appropriate action
Direct team with driving growth through upsell of assigned customer base
Responsible for funnel management, productivity, forecasting, and revenue analysis for team level performance metrics
Hire and performance manage sales team and completes required sales documentation
Identify gaps in training and resources, make recommendations for improvements in process, systems and training
Responsible for setting the overall action plan and for directing sales activities (including sales campaign development and management) consistent with business goals and objectives
Act as a point of escalation with appropriate peer organizations for effective and prompt trouble resolution
