Summary:  We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Revenue Collections Consultant to handle all aspects of contract and budget negotiations, and collections services for our client engagements. This role requires a keen understanding of financial documents management, negotiation strategies, and client communication to ensure seamless integration of contractual and budgetary requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the exclusive and sole negotiator for study contracts and budgets with the Sponsor/CRO before the initiation of the study, ensuring all contract terms and budget allocations are favorable to the client.
Handle all communications and decision-making processes concerning contract terms and budget negotiations, maintaining transparency and alignment with client objectives.
Collaborate closely with the client to integrate their specific contractual and budgetary requirements into the negotiation process.
Manage, scan, and electronically store all budget and finance-related documents for studies awarded under the agreement and scope of work.
Track and manage accounts receivable, perform ongoing study reconciliation, and handle invoicing based on data provided by the client.
Conduct periodic collection calls and maintain regular communication with the client through meetings and updates to discuss trial-specific financials and overall receivables.
Train on and promote the ongoing use of a financial portal, ensuring the client is comfortable with accessing and interpreting financial reports based on their data.
Coordinate initial contract and budget negotiations and execute all necessary re-negotiations as applicable.
Reconcile all financial transactions including monies received and fees paid, and manage invoicing and other financial documentation in accordance with client data.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in finance or budget management, preferably within a clinical research or similar industry.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract and budget negotiations.
Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple negotiations and financial management tasks.
Proficient in financial software and databases, with the ability to quickly learn and use new financial portals and reporting tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
