I am currently looking for a Export Administrator/Coordinator to start working for my client in Blackburn on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for existing and new export accounts in designated areas coordinate all processes related to customer enquiries, quotations, and orders effectively.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Organisational Duties:
- Respond to general queries and produce quotations to customer enquiries within agreed timescales in support of a quality customer service model.
- Process customer purchase orders conducting contract review in line with commercial guidelines and procedures.
- Understand and communicate customer requirements with own and other departments when necessary.
- Consult with the Head of Commercial and Business Development Managers (if applicable) on commercial pricing matters to ensure customer and company needs are met in quotations.
- Liaise with production/despatch to ensure on time delivery of the orders and keep the customers informed. Proactively inform the customers about delays in orders.
- Review customer accounts and support relevant BDM with day-to-day customer service.
- Support the commercial team in other geographical areas to provide cover for other members of staff when required.
- Maintain the administrative systems within the Commercial Department to ensure that all information is accurate, up to date and accessible.
- Provide an effective communications link between external and internal stakeholders.

Functional Duties:
- Adhere to the commercial guidelines and departmental procedures set by the commercial orders manual, the commercial enquiries manual and Health and Safety policies to satisfy company and customer needs.
- Communicate professionally when emailing, making or taking phone calls, and in person to ensure delivery of a quality customer service.
- Process all aspects of enquiries, quotations and orders for designated areas, review the detail accuracy and connect customers with the relevant employees.
- Ensure that customer enquiries and purchase orders are processed in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Ensure accuracy in the detail of contract orders and quotations by adhering to the commercial guidelines and manuals.
- Complete training relevant to the Commercial Department and develop knowledge, techniques and skills to improve performance against KPIs.

37.5 hours per week – working Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 16:45 and Friday 8:00 – 12:45
