Commercial Manager (Material Handling)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established yet vastly expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new Commercial Manager in the UK to assist the sales team with commercial decision making and analysis. Responsibilities

· Assist the sales team at all levels including key/national accounts with commercial decision making

· Provide KPI’s & financial reporting to analyze data successfully

· Work with the Sales Director and sales team to structure deals in order to obtain the best outcome both financially and for the customer

· Assist the Sales Director in implementing sales growth strategies

· Be the go to person in respect of complex financial data to include currency conversions in order to assist the sales team

Requirements

Although experience of working within the material handling industry may be beneficial this is by no means essential. Experience of a similar sector that relies on high capital equipment spend with lease agreements however, would be highly advantageous. Individuals who work for finance brokerage’s that work with MHE OEM’s and manufacturer’s may also be of interest. Ultimately, you must have high commercial acumen with the proven ability to negotiate and solve problems. In terms of locality you can be based anywhere within reason across the UK.
