Join a rapidly expanding specialist glazing contractor.
Our business provides glazing contractor services to East Anglian based contractors and developers, specialising in multi-plot new build social and open market housing, care homes and education. We provide a wide range of window systems and products from a broad supply chain.
We are looking to add a Pre-contract Support role (Estimating Assistant, Project Coordinator, Precontracts Assistant) to our team to assist our General Manager with a variety of functions involved in helping us secure ongoing projects.
Full training can be given for these responsibilities, as well as opportunities for advancement.
The role will cover:
-Performing take-offs from drawings
-Sending information to suppliers
-Checking incoming quotes from suppliers
-Preparing quotes
-Dealing with pre-start queries
-Supplier liaison
-Other pre- and mid-project support
The candidate:
-Organised and detail focused
-Some experience of working in the construction or subcontracting function would be useful
-Numerate and able to use spreadsheets and other similar systems
