An exciting CNC Miller position has become available in Bolton at a family run engineering company.
Job Title: CNC Miller Setter/Operator or Programmer
Shift: 39 Hour working week. Mon to Thurs 7.30am to 4.00pm. Friday 7.30am to 3.00 pm with overtime available.
Rate: £15 - £17 p/h
Please see below description of the role:
The ability to read technical drawings to produce quality components to the customers exacting requirements out of a variety of materials including ferrous, nickel alloys and plastics for the food and hygiene, pharmaceutical and oil and gas industries.
The ability to select and set machine tools required for the part.
Experience in CNC milling, CNC turning would be an advantage but not essential.
A good knowledge of programming Fanuc systems. Mazatrol and Heidenhain would be advantageous but not essential.
Working on the following machines:
* Doosan DNM 750II 3 axis milling machine (Fanuc control)
* Dugard Eagle 850 (Fanuc control)
* Mazak Nexus 510C II (Heidenhain control).
Some CNC turning maybe required due to work demand.
