Position - Qualified Science Teacher
Location - Canterbury
Contact Type - Full Time Permanent
Tradewind Recruitment are working with an excellent comprehensive school in the Canterbury area who are seeking a qualified Science Teacher for a permanent position in September - full time. The salary will be MPS/UPS depending on experience.
The role:
Plan and deliver creative lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
Regularly assess and support students to ensure they are reaching their full potential
Encourage a positive learning environment to ensure all students are engaged and participating
Attend meetings and regular CPD to develop and share best practices across the Science Department and the wider school.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential - both experienced and ECT's are welcomed
Passionate, have strong subject knowledge and proven experience of teaching Science within a secondary school environment
Excellent classroom management skills
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
