DIGITAL SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT -TELECOM
CONTRACT- HYBRID ( 2 DAYS/WEEK IN READING)
DURATION: 6 MONTHS + POSSIBLE EXTENSION
Join a leading digital telecoms provider, in a newly created role as a Solutions Architect. This is your chance to own solutions architecture within our Digital Product platforms, defining high-level designs and ensuring alignment with our strategy, principles, and standards.Strong System Integration experience in telecom industry with Azure Cloud,Microservices and API's
Role Overview:
As our Solutions Architect, you'll collaborate closely with the strategy team and product owners to assess the size and impact of new initiatives. You'll work with the wider Digital team to capture and document requirements consistently, playing a vital role in driving our digital product innovation forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Define product and project high-level designs within our Digital Product platforms.
Collate partner solution architecture and ensure alignment with our strategy and standards.
Work with the strategy team and product owners to assess the impact of new initiatives.
Collaborate with the wider Digital team to capture and document requirements consistently.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong experience in software engineering/solution architecture.
Technical grounding in cloud development, microservices, and APIs.
Strong knowledge of software architecture design and best practices.
Expertise in Product methodologies such as DevOps and Agile.
Familiarity with architecture practices, including TOGAF.
Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Understanding of Ofcom and wider telecoms integration (desirable).
Exposure to React & Node frameworks (highly beneficial).
Background in telecoms / Utilities or regulated industry
Strong partner management experience.
Experience of working with governance for partners/3rd party suppliers
Worked within a digital product environment with multiple partners
Strong systems integration experience, cloud (Azure) microservices and APIs
Needs gravitas and to take ownership and be creative and proactive
