Job Title: Legal Counsel – Litigation  Salary: From £55,000, plus excellent benefits package. 
Location: Milton Keynes – Hybrid working 

Scania have an excellent opportunity for a litigation specialist to join our in-house legal department as legal counsel. You will be a qualified solicitor/barrister, with experience running litigation portfolios, and liaising with external parties, such as lawyers and insurers. As our in-house litigation expert, you will be the key point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing a pro-active service and sound technical advice. 
Reporting directly into our General Counsel, you will have an important role which is key to the development of our legal function. 

Key Requirements 
•    Litigation - experience owning and running litigation portfolios.
•    Stakeholder management - liaising with stakeholders throughout our business, providing expert advice and    managing expectations.
•    Third party liaison - working alongside and managing external relationships with insurers and lawyers. 
•    Qualified - a qualified solicitor/barrister, looking to play a key role within our in-house legal department.
