Electrical Design Engineer
(industrial/manufacturing)
Monday - Friday
Salary £35K - £50K
Full Time - Permanent
This is NOT a trainee or graduate role and we are NOT looking for a complete newbie with no experience. You must have a minimum of 5 years' working experience to be considered for this role.
We are looking for an experienced electrical design engineer for a busy market leading company with a long established history.
Due to an increase in business and designing new innovative solutions for their customers, this company is looking for you to be responsible for:
Organising your workload, whilst working on multiple designs.
Review design requirements, including specification of materials
You will be responsible for producing and approving various paperwork relating to the design manufacturing process from drawings, to bills of materials, overview sheets, your own calculations etc.
You will be providing technical support to other teams such as engineering, production, sales, customer support ….. What skills / experience is needed for this role?
You need to have at least 5 years' experience within electrical design engineering, ideally within a manufacturing/industrial setting. In addition to:
Working knowledge of IEC 60204 & 61439 standards
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles
Experience with product CE marking process & DFMEA
Strong experience working aith Autodesk, AutoCAD electrical
CAD experience (autodesk, Siemens, Creo preferred)This role offers you:
