HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 driver required for a position with our well-established client in Burton on Trent.

The role is a Monday to Friday position and will be on an ongoing basis.

The start time will be between 06.30am and 07.00am and will usually be between 10-12 hours per shift.

Job role will include:

* 2 runs per day - Burton to Manchester

* 10-12 hour shifts

* Driving with care and attention not to damage the product

* Completing vehicle defect and maintaining logs

* Completing delivery paperwork and ensuring this is returned to transport office

The Candidate:

* A valid full category C+E Licence

* Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 driving experience

* Demonstrate excellent communication skills

* Work well with others as part of a team

* Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail

* Must have a current CPC and Digi card

* No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA/IN offences)

Pay rate:

* £16 per hour
