You're a motivated software engineer with a passion for DevOps as well as working with people? In this role, you'll combine working as an engineer with caring for the people in your team. As a Team Captain, you'll support, mentor, and coach your team members and help set the team up for success. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in building tools and pipelines that streamline software delivery and release processes on our Kubernetes platform. Your expertise and enthusiasm will contribute to shaping the developer experience for over 1000 software engineers.

• Ensure smooth and effective teamwork, focusing on mentoring, coaching, and leadership
• Act as a cloud engineer, build and maintain the pipelines and tools that make delivering and releasing software work like a charm for development teams
• Create an inspiring, cooperative environment with open communication and foster teamwork
• Collaborate with Directors, Product Owners, Lead Product Engineers as well as Agile Coaches to ensure your team can reach its goals
• Discover training needs, motivate, and support your team members to grow

• Empathetic and sympathetic person with a passion for mentoring, coaching, and transferring your own knowledge
• Communicative personality with customer-centric end-to-end thinking
• Experience with backend software development, preferably in Go
• Solid grasp of git version control and branching models
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and an agile software development lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and modern DevOps principles as a developer
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Argo CD and Argo Workflows
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Shell Scripting

Compensation and rewards

• We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
• Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualification and experience.
