Chemix is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Technical Marketing Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise in battery cell & pack design and their use in EVs, along with a strong business acumen to effectively engage customers and drive business growth. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the integration of our battery cells into customer battery packs and electric vehicles, providing both pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical guidance on integrating our battery cells into battery packs and electric vehicles.
Serve as the primary technical liaison between the company and customers, offering pre-sales support through product presentations, technical consultations, and feasibility assessments.
Work closely with the engineering team to customize battery cell designs and specifications to meet customer needs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Develop technical marketing collateral, including whitepapers, case studies, and application notes, to showcase the benefits and capabilities of our battery cells.
Create customer-facing documentation, such as technical specifications and product data sheets to facilitate integrating and utilizing our battery cells in customer applications.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, informing product development and marketing strategies.
Lead training sessions and workshops for customers to enhance understanding of our battery cell technology and its applications.
Provide post-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of customer inquiries or issues to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our battery cell solutions and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical marketing, applications engineering, and/or product management roles within the battery cell industry.
Strong understanding of battery applications in electric vehicles. Familiarity with energy storage systems is a plus.
Familiarity with battery cell design principles, chemistry, and manufacturing processes.
Proven track record of successfully engaging customers and driving business growth through technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
