Teacher of Health and Social Care - Barking and Dagenham
At Engage Education, we’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work in a successful secondary school within Barking and Dagenham that caters for students ages 11-18 who are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Health and Social Care who can teach Health and Social Care across KS3/KS4 and KS5 to start in September 2024.
About the role:
This is a permanent teaching role teaching Health and Social Care to Key Stage 3/4 and 5 students. This role comes with plenty of room for career progression for those who commit to the school’s passion for providing a supportive and enriching environment for these young adults. The school also places great emphasis on staff wellbeing and a healthy work-life balance.The school has an onsite gym for staff to use, free parking, free mental health support and counselling, reduced timetable, more PPA time and collaborative planning.
About you:

Have the ability to build strong rapport with young adults, and have experience mentoring students
*
Have experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS3/4 and 5
*
Have a proven background in raising pupil progress
*
A real desire to make a positive difference to the students that you work with
*
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
