Site Services Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and motivated Site Services Officer to join our team and undertake responsibility for delivering efficient and effective building maintenance support to site.

The role

As an integral member of the Engineering team, you will provide hands on maintenance support and sub-contractor management - whilst ensuring the factory complies to all legislative requirements (LEV, Legionella, FGAS, Electrical Inspection, Asbestos and Fire Prevention).

Facilitating the completion of reactive and planned maintenance activities on assets and plant to ensure the continued smooth running of the factory, will be top of your agenda.

Accountabilities

Driving excellence and a high performing team
Supporting and taking ownership of all building maintenance related activities
Implementing and applying best practice whilst supporting the development of continuous improvement activities
Owning contractor management whilst fully implementing the companies approved contractor process
Ensuring stock levels are managed and kept to a suitable level
Assisting with the management and achievement of the department’s health and safety plan
Implementing PM schedules and continuous improvement action plans
Developing the PPM system and compliance dashboard which includes asset management, planned maintenance management and KPI reporting
Through regular efficiency reviews - evolving the planned maintenance service within operations About you

You will have proven engineering and subcontractor management experience with an excellent understanding of legal compliance, ideally gained from within a food manufacturing setting.

An action based, results driven, challenging and self-motivated mindset and competency to work under pressure - will be key.

You will be an excellent communicator with a practical and innovative approach to problem solving and decision making.
