Smart City Recruiters Ltd are working with a Telecommunications Contractor based in the Cleckheaton area, Our client are a fast growing company and are looking for an experienced Yard / Store Manager to join their team.
Ideally you will have worked in a similar sector, Telecoms, Utilities or Construction but will consider other sectors.
Key responsibilities
* To co-ordinate and manage plant & stock ensuring all administration procedures are followed and ensuring accurate stock management.
* Liaise with operational Staff to ensure materials required for site are arranged and accessible in line with operational extended hours working
* Unload & load delivery vehicles.
* Stock issuing,
* Security of yard ensuring access is only permitted to authorised personnel.
* Ensuring compounds and stores are tidy at all times.
* Work collaboratively with Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Operational Staff and Support Functions
Skills
* Full clean driving licence
* FLT License
* IT Skills – MS Outlook, MSP & MS Word, Excel
* Ability to work in a team
* Good verbal and written communication skills
This is a full-time permanent role based in our clients yards.
