SEN Teaching Assistants

About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a supportive SEN school in Sheffield. This role involves providing personalised support to students with special educational needs to help them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support and assistance to students with special educational needs.
Assist with classroom activities and learning tasks, adapting materials as required.
Support students' social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to implement individualised support plans.
The successful candidate will:
Have prior experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience in supporting students with diverse needs.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Show a genuine commitment to inclusive education and promoting the rights of all students.
