Role Overview:
As an SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized teaching and support in core subjects to our students. This position offers a dynamic mix of on-site teaching, community engagement, and home tutoring, providing a well-rounded learning experience for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.
Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN in core subjects, including Mathematics, English, Science, and other key areas.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student growth and development.
Collaborate with other staff members and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
Passion for working with students with SEN and a commitment to their academic and personal development.
Previous experience in SEN education or tutoring is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of core subjects and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred but not essential.
