We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for a local assignment. As an LPN at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in delivering patient care and ensuring their safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders
Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the registered nurse or physician
Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans
Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring
Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Document patient information accurately and efficiently
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and their families about their conditions and self-care techniques
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an LPN
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is required

NOTE: 32 hours/week with potential for up to 40 hours Every other weekend 10:45 PM to 07:15 AM
This not a remote job but the will be performed at a facility and its a local job
