Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Security / Access / CCTV Helper to join our team of over 900 of the best fire protection and security professionals in the industry. This position is based in our Houston, TX location.
Job Description
Assist with the installation of security equipment and the service, repair and maintenance of security, access control and Camera systems under direct supervision of a licensed Security Technician.
Assist with diagnosing and evaluating systems that require servicing as well as aid in the installation of new equipment.
Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and other employees in a respectful, professional manner.
Some overtime, nights, weekends and on-call hours may be required.
Requirements
Work experience, training or education in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security, access control, and CCTV systems or related equipment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
May work in variety of businesses and institutions including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and government facilities.
Must possess or be willing to obtain any applicable state licenses.
A current Driver’s License.
Must be able to satisfy Government, Federal and Customs background check requirements.
