Job Description:

1. To serve as the primary point of contact for customers, stakeholders, and Council officers, ensuring a unified and efficient housing service experience.
2. Delivering top-notch service and assistance to customers and Housing Teams, facilitating day-to-day operations, triage, and communication.
3. Foster a customer-centric approach in interactions with the public, tenants, and stakeholders, adhering to Council policies through various communication channels.
4. Gather accurate information from various sources using diagnostic tools and triage systems to prioritise maintenance and tenancy tasks effectively.
5. Handle customer inquiries according to Council standards, aiming for first-contact resolution for simple queries and addressing complex issues promptly.
6. Schedule official works orders and tenancy inspections, coordinating with relevant personnel and professionals as needed.
7. Maintain up-to-date ICT systems with job, property, tenancy, and financial data to facilitate performance reporting.
8. Monitor the progress of day-to-day repairs, property transactions, and inspections.
9. Manage front-line officers' schedules and absences, ensuring adequate coverage and reporting conflicts to supervisors.
10. Review and assign tasks from the ICT system to officers and operatives, optimising allocation for maximum productivity.
11. Organise and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems, adhering to documentation guidelines.
12. Analyse and address overdue repairs or tenancy tasks daily to minimise outstanding work.
13. Process official orders, deliveries, and invoices using the Council's procurement system, handling customer payments over the phone.
14. Assist in managing non-housing properties, including garage vacancies, allocations, and inspections.
15. Maintain control over communal area keys, void properties, and vacant garages.
16. Contribute to personal and professional development initiatives in collaboration with colleagues to enhance service quality and personal growth.
