Do you have experience with legionella water filtration analysis? Are you comfortable working in compliance with ISO 17025 / UKAS standards? We are currently offering opportunity for a scientist to join a microbiology laboratory in the East Midlands.
The Role
As a scientist within the microbiology testing team, you will be responsible for:
* Conducting water filtration analysis to provide validation assistance,
* Adhering to ISO 17025 / UKAS guidelines,
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety protocols,
* Accurate maintenance of lab records & results.
Skills and Experience Needed
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Prior experience performing legionella water filtration analysis (essential)
* Demonstrated ability to work aseptically and maintain a sterile environment (essential)
* Existing UK work eligibility (essential)
* Previously worked in ISO 17025 / UKAS-accredited lab (desirable)
* Prior experience performing water filtration analysis for bacterial species including: (e.g., E. coli, coliforms, pseudomonas, enterococci) (desirable)
