Project Manager

Our client provides energy and power solutions to a global client base in Automotive, Aviation, Industry and MedTech. They have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager from a Power, Energy, Clean Energy, or Energy Storage background to join the team in Scotland.

The role -
* Working with senior managers, you’ll oversee the development and deployment of innovative charging products in the dynamic industrial electric vehicle, automotive and mobility markets.
* As the project lead, you’ll be the linchpin for success. You’ll meticulously manage costs, schedules, and ensure that products meet the specifications.
* Lead projects teams and manage conflicts
* Be responsible for identifying and managing risk and issues
* Monitor and report on project status in real-time and horizon scanning
* Work with European manufacturing teams to ensure products move from development to full production
* Manage quality milestones and issues
* Work across teams to produce documentation and quotations (costs)
About you -
* a degree or higher degree in Engineering
* 5 years' or more experience of working in power electronics, clean energy solutions, electrical transmission/storage or power storage
* design lifecycle product development
* project management experience with people skills
* willingness to do some travel
* experience of SAP or another enterprise-grade platform
* a project management qualification (although experience is more important)
