Trainer/Tutor - AEB (London)

The Forward Trust is a fast growing Matrix Standard, ERSA Employability Awards 2020 Highly Commended vocational training, skills and employability provider. As part of our AEB contract (Kent) we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Trainer.
What you will be doing?
Working to our Operational Manager you will be creating exciting lesson plans, timetables and resources, as well as teaching and asessing AEB learners on our Level 1 and 2 qualifications including Climate Change, Digital Skills and Employability. You will be expected to teach to a high standard and also enthuse the learners about the Green Sector job and apprenticeship roles we have in place through our Sector Based Work Academy Programme. So we will expect you to also embed information, advice and guidance into your teaching sessions. You will need to be able to use One File (e portfolio), Skills Forward (Maths/English asessment), Kudos (Careers Advice portal).

Person specification
* Experience of working on ESFA/devolved Adult Education Budget schemes for the unemployed/NEETs
* Qualified Trainer/Tutor with Level 3 Award in Education and Training (Minimum)
* Experience of teaching unemployed learners
* Knowledge of the Ofsted EIF
* Experience of using E portfolios
* Experience of delivering digital skills, employability, environmental qualifications
* Experience of working with Awarding Bodies, Internal Quality Assurance staff
* Experience of imparting careers advice/IAG
* Able to work under pressure with a rolling monthly cohorts of starts
