About our school:
Keys Group is a leading provider of therapeutic care and education for children and young people. We are currently looking for a passionate, creative, and pro-active Speech and Language Therapist to work within Somerset Progressive School. This is a flexible position working closely with our school community.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a continually developing organisation as part of a friendly, professional, and supportive multi-disciplinary team. Please note this role will involve working at two different sites, therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle will be essential.
Overview of the role of Speech and Language Therapist:
Providing direct assessment
Intervention and consultation
Playing a key role in the provision of high-quality services for pupils with complex special educational needs and disabilities
Working with the support of other professionals within our Clinical Team in this varied and rewarding role We would love to hear from people who:
Are HCPC registered therapists (preferred)
Have an interest in attachment and developmental trauma
Post qualification experience of SEN education
Familiarity with a variety of SALT assessments tools and interventions, appropriate to the needs of children and young people with complex needs.
Passionate champions of students with SEND
