Our Client has a requirement for a Land Surveyor, who will be required to work on a staff basis in Irlam or Shropshire.
Role: Land Surveyor
Location: Irlam or Shropshire
Working arrangements: Staff / Full time
Industry: Telecommunications or Infrastructure (Desirable but not essential)
Hybrid working is availabe!
Role Purpose:
As a Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed surveys for a variety of projects. Your work will ensure that all measurements and data collection meet the highest standards, supporting the successful planning and execution of projects. While experience in the telecommunications or infrastructure sectors is desirable, we welcome candidates with strong land surveying skills from any industry.
Job Role Responsibilities:
Conducting land surveys and measurements using advanced surveying equipment and technology.
Preparing detailed site plans, maps, and reports.
Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate survey data into project plans.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Managing and maintaining survey equipment.
Performing site visits and inspections as needed.
Providing technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Land Surveyor.
Proficiency in using surveying instruments such as GPS, total stations, and theodolites.
Strong knowledge of survey software and CAD tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret and analyse complex data.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in the telecommunications or infrastructure sectors.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Membership in a professional body such as RICS or similar.
