This role represents the opportunity join a rapidly growing business in the automotive sector delivering sourcing solutions and rental solutions to SME customers. This role gives the suitable candidate the opportunity to stamp their mark on the business creating their own in-house SME sales team along with a support function to assist with a variety of Large fleet and SME customers. The suitable candidate should be process driven, self motivated, and a great communicator.

Key Objectives

* Identifying opportunities for improving efficiencies, enhancing customer service and reducing business risk.

* Establishing mechanisms to support data capture and reporting of key management information

* Responsibility for contracts and surrounding processes Process and issue invoices in respect of all orders and sub supply and monitor payments.

* Line management responsibility, initially for two support staff, and with recruitment required for two SME Sales staff. Potential to lead in growing central office/ sales functions

* Working with the Head of Operations to scope new processes, procedures and systems and leading on their design, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement

* Working closely with the sales team to ensure accurate and complete records of sales opportunities, contracts, and service agreements, including tracking any changes in service provision

* Working with the Digital Marketing team to devise campaigns and encourage sales traffic to SME Staff.

* Introduce and implement sales initiatives and processes to ensure success of SME Sales.

Key Tasks

Structure and implement processes:

Create a stringent process chain for all team orders and ensure that this is carried out across the business.

Sales database control:

Ensure details of all orders are entered into the Company’s database and update the record in a timely manner to record all landmark events and order detail (as specified in the database).

Sales activity focus:

Work with marketing resource to generate and drive SME sales performance.

Target setting and goal attainment:

Ensure SMART goals are in place for all sales team staff within the channel and activity is driven and monitored on a regular basis.

Cohesion with wider management team:

Work with the management team to ensure appropriate stock and build programmes are acquired/ followed to ensure maximum utilisation of rental and sales.

Leadership and management

Ensure that effective communication with team members and business stakeholders including ‘taking the lead’ on specific tasks and assignments
