Your new role
This is a new Shipping Coordinator job, joining a busy shipping team. Supporting all aspects of imports, liaising with the purchasing team. Duties include but not limited to:
Arranging export shipments, covering all modes of transport.
Preparing associated export documentation, including Health Certificates and Certificates of Origin and Export Licences.
Ensure database information is up-to-date and submit new information where necessary.
Review changes within the freight industry to identify changes in legislation.
Providing support to other areas of logistics as and when required.What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job you will require:
A minimum of two years' office-based experience.
Dangerous Goods by Air, Sea, or Road qualification is desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to take initiative, be proactive, manage changing priorities and work independently.
You will have excellent communication skills, spoken and written.
Import and Export experience is beneficial but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail, friendly and helpful nature.
Strong PC Literacy including Word & Excel.What you'll get in return
