We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Depot Foreman to work for a large national company that supply generators. They work with a range of industries from construction through to festivals and schools. Basically anyone needing temporary power needs.
The main parts of the role include:
Company – Leading Supplier of Power Generators
Job Title – Depot Foreman
Location – Wakefield
Salary Package – £38k + overtime
Oversee all engineering & depot yard staff.
Ensure all equipment is prepared to company standards.
Liaise with customers when required to resolve any breakdowns or ascertain faults.
Manage engineers’ workload daily.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels and resources.
Completing audits in line with company policy.
Driving a health and safety compliance culture in line with company policy and processes.
Conduct regular reviews to monitor team performance.
This is a hands on role, you must be prepared to support the team when required.
REQUIREMENTS
Foreman experience, ideally in the equipment hire industry.
Strong people management skills and experience.
Full UK driving licence.
Forklift licence (desirable).
Generator experience would be desirable but not essential
