Fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a cost and project management consultancy, who specialise in the Healthcare sector.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you are given the opportunity to gain a wealth of experience and achievement covering a number of aspects across the Business, Consultancy and Construction worlds.
You will be responsible for implementing, administering and maintaining cost control systems and procedures to track budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts.

* £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
* 33 days holiday including statutory and public holidays (increases by 1 day for each completed years’ service up to a max of 3 years)

Other duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Provide cost information to support decision making.
* Evaluate contractor invoices prior to submission for pre-approval.
* Evaluate and analyse fee proposals / bids and provide recommendation for decision making.
* Help ensure that commercial processes are adhered to across the business unit and actively seek to improve processes and procedures.
* Proactively providing sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
* Maintain and manage cost reports.
Our client is looking for:
* Experience of leading cost management on medium or large sized construction projects of medium to high complexity.
* Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering.
* Commercial construction experience, preferred.
