Early Career Teacher

Looking for a new role to start kick start your career in the classroom?

Teaching personnel are working with ECT's who are looking to gain more school based experience before starting their ECT sign off. These roles are ideal for those who enjoy working with small groups and conduct intervention style sessions gaining experience in a variety of year groups.

Roles are due to start in September but trial days and interviews will be happening ASAP so if you are interested apply NOW!

Location: West Midlands, Birmingham
Job Type: Contract,one academic year-  expected to work full-time hours
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £125 - £140 Per day

Job Duties:

Work effectively with small groups of students
Conduct intervention style sessions to support student learning
Support children in mainstream education with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Collaborate with an experienced class teacher
Work closely with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and other academic professionals

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in primary education
Training in safeguarding children in education

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Experience in teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
Ability to work effectively with children with SEN
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Additional training in specific areas of special educational needs
Experience in implementing individualised education plans

Working Conditions:

This role is based in a school setting in West Midlands, Birmingham. The teacher will work full-time hours on a contract basis. The position involves working closely with students, teachers, and school leadership to support student learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
