Are you passionate about product development and would you like to lift your career to the next level? To complete our team, we look for an ambitious and flexible person that on the one hand has an eye for details to deal with necessary technical documentation and on the other hand who never loses sight of the big picture to successfully take over responsibility for product development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying product requirements in close cooperation with our marketing and sales team
- Leading and managing product development and product change projects to provide competitive product solutions that fulfill all relevant legal and regulatory requirements as well as customer needs
- Evaluation of third-party Intellectual Property as well as creation of own Intellectual Property
- Idea generation for new products and technologies
- Conduction of value analyses, market tests and competitor product analyses
- Close collaboration with other departments e. g. marketing, production, supply chain, regulatory affairs etc.
- Ensuring product compliance to all relevant rules and guidelines
Qualifications:
- University degree in Science or Engineering
- Experience with product development techniques and relevant regulatory requirements for medical devices
- Knowledge of medical textiles and related production technologies
- Experience with the product application at the customer side and ability to transfer this into product features
- Knowledge in patent literature and basic knowledge of patent law
- Process understanding, knowledge of quality management and project management tools
- Good communication and negotiation skills in English
