Support Worker
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Support Worker for a Secondary Alternative Provision in Blackburn. We are working in partnership with The Heights Blackburn who are seeking additional support assistants.

Full-time
8:00 -3:20, Thursday is 4pm and Friday 2:30pm finish.
ASAP start
Long-term, temporary contract for the successful candidate
£12.90 p/h
As a member of support staff, you will work alongside the teacher to ensure each child is meeting their full potential, providing whole class, small group and 1:1 intervention. You will contribute to promoting independence for the pupils, encouraging them to developing socially and emotionally as well as in their ability to learn and work independently. Great communication is essential within this role as you will need to liaise with the teacher, SENCO, families and outside agencies of the progression of individual children and further targets for the children to work towards.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
