Senior Contracts / Commercial Lawyer
Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
Salary: £44 per hour

The Role:
We are seeking to recruit a Senior Contracts / Commercial Lawyer who will provide high-quality legal and procurement advice on contract and commercial matters across all areas of the Client, including complex construction, regeneration, and ICT matters. While knowledge of local government governance issues is desirable, it is not essential.
Responsibilities:
Deliver expert legal advice on contract and commercial matters, ensuring compliance and risk management.
Provide innovative solutions to complex policy and strategy issues.
Research, draft, and prepare legal proceedings and documentation.
Advise on local and national government policy impacts.
Present and defend cases in Court and Tribunals as necessary.
Support statutory panels and boards with legal guidance.
Manage external legal advice and representation, ensuring budget adherence.
