Humanities Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Salary Scale: £150 to £200 per day
Status: Full Time, Parttime

GSL Education is currently seeking to appoint a Humanities Teacher to undertake a position at one of our client schools in Barnsley. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Barnsley.
Job Sammary:
Developing and delivering a curriculum covering subjects such as literature, history, philosophy, religion, art, and music.
Helping students understand complex literature and think critically about it.
Planning and preparing courses and lessons based on up-to-date knowledge of the subject and teaching methodology.
Role of a Humanities Teacher:
Develop and deliver innovative lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered.
Encourage students to explore diverse perspectives, think critically, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and contribute to the wider school community.
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience working as a teacher within an educational setting.
Original or certified copies of your degree certificates relevant to teaching science (e.g., Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education, PGCE).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certificate or evidence of completion of a recognized teacher training program.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the humanities.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
