Position: Technical Sales Support

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 depending on experience and qualifications
About the Company:
Currently, we are seeking a Technical Sales Support/Paraplanner to bolster the team of a reputable chartered firm. In this role, you will provide crucial support to a Financial Planner, focusing on the technical aspects of client meetings, including review completion, analysis, opportunity identification, and suitability report composition. A comprehensive understanding of pre and post-retirement planning, investments, and taxation is paramount for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities as a Technical Sales Support:
* Effectively articulate and fulfill the Financial Planner's requirements through thorough questioning and comprehension.
* Conduct gap analyses and analyse information on clients' existing financial arrangements.
* Research products in line with Financial Planner guidelines, client circumstances, and objectives to support recommendations.
* Prepare personalised Suitability and Ongoing Suitability Reports, ensuring clarity and compliance with plain English writing. (Training provided)
* Prepare client meeting cases in advance.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in Intelligent Office (IO) back office system.
* Previous experience within an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) environment with comprehensive knowledge of retail investment products.
* Familiarity with SIPP providers, permitted investments, and specialist funds.
* Understanding of industry legislation, including MiFID II, GDPR, and AML.
