Absolute Recruitment are looking for Van Drivers to join the transport team at a well-established wholesaler company in Stoke on Trent.
The Company
Stocking over 15,000 products, they supply and distribute animal products to animal health practices and other approved outlets across the UK.
The products range from pharmaceuticals, instrumentation, pet products and accessories.
They continue to be the UK’s market leading veterinary wholesaler with ten depots across the UK.
The Role
The main responsibility of this role is to deliver temp-controlled medicines to vets and other outlets.
The candidate will require a driving licence, less than six points and they will need to be personable as they will be customer facing.
You may be responsible for keeping the van that you are assigned and it will be your responsibility to maintain the vehicle and keep it clean however you will not take this home with you.
Key attributes are:
* The ability to work calmly and in an organised way with the existing team of transport staff
* The ability to complete vehicle and load checks, completing any necessary paperwork required
* Working efficiently to planned routes and ETAs
* The ability to liaise with customers and clients
* Knowledge of WTD and highway code
The Offer
This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate after completing 12 weeks.
The Shift pattern will be Monday to Friday, Start times as early at 5:00am start for 8 approx hours traffic dependent.
In addition to the salary, bonuses will be available after 12 weeks completed and you go permanent with the company.
