Accountant

Key duties within the role:

Provide timely and accurate financial, cost, and management information.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Analyse reports, identify variances, and recommend remedial actions.
Monitor long-term contracts and assess commercial risks.
Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations.Qualifications:

Qualified AAT or part-qualified accountant.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.Assets Management:

Control and record fixed assets according to accounting principles.
Maintain depreciation schedules.Cash Management:

Assist in cash flow management and forecasting.
Monitor divisional cash flow trends.
Implement credit control policies.Audit and Internal Control:

Liaise with auditors and address recommendations.
Maintain audit-friendly records.
Adhere to internal control procedures.System Development and Policies:

Recommend new information systems.
Interpret and enforce financial policies.
Help maintain the Accounting Manual.Procedures:

Follow financial and accounting procedures.
Prepare comprehensive management reports.
